VENETO: VENICE IN THE HEART. 1st HELP TO RETURN OUR CITY TO SHINE
VENETO: VENICE IN THE HEART
Venice was hit by exceptionally high tide – the second highest in history – which caused enormous damage to the city, residents and economic activities. Public buildings, banks and foundations, the Basilica of San Marco and all the historical and artistic heritage, museums, schools, islands, houses, shops, and craft activities have been devastated by high water and the fury of the wind.
The City, with its inhabitants and the collaboration of all the Police Forces, the Civil Protection and the Fire Brigade, immediately set to work to fix, restore, rebuild and restart, but the activity to be done still remains huge.
If you want to give your contribution to support Venice, its residents and the resumption of economic and social activities, you can do so through a donation that will be directed to restore what has been damaged by these exceptional events and to return our City to normal.
Venice is a pride of all Italy, Venice is everyone’s heritage, unique in the world.
Thanks to your help, Venice will return to shine.
